“He asked me about my late deliveries and needed an explanation, I was too embarrassed to tell him… I had to make up some other excuses and at the end he told me if I couldn’t fix my problem I would be fired.”
Jay tried many different methods such as topical cream and ice therapy, but it was just a temporary fix. The itchiness and pain were not completely gone, leaving him no choice but to bear them all during the long drives.
“I am not young anymore… I can’t lose this job, My family needs this job to put food on the table.”
Jay was determined and tried to push through the odds, continuing to work harder with reduced breaks in between so that the deliveries were done on time, until one day the disaster struck. This time, the pain was very different it was excruciating, as if it was burning, Jay was fidgeting from the discomfort and pain of it while his truck unknowingly drifted into oncoming traffic. Jay panicked and tried to swerve back to his lane and his truck skidded through off-road and almost flipped, he was lucky to be able to avoid it just in time.
